Opening Reception

Join Mexic-Arte Museum for the Opening Reception of our upcoming exhibitions Viva la Vida: Celebrating 35 Years of Mexic-Arte Museum’s Día de los Muertos and Danzas Matlachines: Tesoros y Patrimonio Cultural, Las Tradiciónes Continúan. The two exhibitions will spotlight storied cultural traditions leading up to Hispanic Heritage Month and Día de los Muertos.  There will be Antojitos, live music and drinks to enjoy.

Sugar Skull Workshops

In this class you will learn the historical art of sugar skull making! During these hands-on sugar skull workshops, both children and adults will learn the significance of Dia de Los Muertos and how to create beautiful calaveras.  Ages 4+
